How could I forget Scarlett & Rhett?? Oh, well. great list. Here's mine: http://myreadersblock.blogspot.com/2010/09/top-ten-tuesday-favorite-couples.html
Yay. I've read 4 of these books. I agree completley about Old Dan and Little Ann. I'm so glad I got to read that book this year. I don't think I've ever read Frog and Toad, must get around to that one some day.
Yep. Elizabeth and Darcy and Anne and Gilbert are on my list. With them would be Hester Latterly and Monk (Anne Perry series) and Miss Dukas and the Chief (Jo Dereske series)....I've been reading your archives. So enjoyable. It's nice to meet another adult who likes to read children's books. I bought me a small boxful of books at garage sales last weekend. :-)

i LOVE that you included Frog and Toad. Zomg one of my favorite childhood reads. Yay.
Great choices.
I would chose Lyra and Will (His Dark Materials)
Poor Frodo and Sam, alas their love was not meant to be.
Great list!

I agree with Elizabeth and Mr Darcy. Rhett and Scarlett are for sure my favorite literary couple ever!
Aw.w.w. Of course- Big Dan and Little Ann. Good choice. Check out my lists (two for the price of one) at:

I love how you expanded the idea of couple. Frodo and Sam are awesome.
If I could PS this list, I'd add Leo and Stargirl. And they'd be near the top. Right up there with Old Dan and Little Ann.

I love Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy too. Which is why I'm saving my favourite book for last in Austen challenge I'm participating in. :-)
